Kauri Frames - Limited Edition!

Glass or Acrylic?

We've managed to get our hands on some amazing Kauri timber!

This timber originated in New Zealand and made its way to Australia, circa 1890. We manage to salvage it from a home in Brighton, Melbourne.

Stock is limited so be sure to get in quick.

  • Frame made to house an image for the dimensions stated (in inches)
  • All frames have a rebate around 1cm. You will lose about 5-8mm on each side of your image behind the rebate when viewed from the front.
  • Frame width approximately 40mm & Depth is approximately 28mm
  • We pride ourselves on our packaging however glass may sometimes break when being shipped. We highly recommend that you choose ACRYLIC (perspex) to avoid breakage as we do not hold responsibility for broken glass.
  • Our high quality Acrylic has 95% UV Protection
  • All frames (apart from A3 size) come with the option to stand freely on a desk. Just insert the small piece of timber into the groove in the back of the frame.
  • All frames have the ability to hang Portrait or Landscape and come with string to hang either way.
  • Materials include glass or acrylic, recycled timber, flexi-clips & backing board
  • Please note timber colour, grooves, knots and nail holes vary with each picture frame due to the nature of our recycled timber

Beautiful Wood, Great Service, So Happy

We had 4 black and white photos framed with the Kauri wood and we are so impressed with the look of the wood against the photos. Wonderful service, great prices and a visually beautiful outcome.

Thanks as always Mulbury!

Happy to hear your photos turned out well in the Kauri frames!
Thanks for sharing the photos as well on Facebook :)

Kauri Frames

Beautiful wood, original and unique. Did not disappoint. Only my second purchase from Mulbury but I will certainly be back for more. I love the way the company repurposes the timber they salvage.

Thanks Kasia!
It's been a pleasure working with you for your frames.
