Clay Cooking Pots - Hand Made
Hand-made Clay Chatti Cooking Pots from Sri Lanka.
Great for cooking a dahl or simply use as a serving bowl.
To season:
- Wash with detergent
- Rinse well with clear water
- Put vegetable or cooking oil in the base and swivel around
- To prime your pot, put it on a gas flame and burn until base is a charcoal colour
- Option: You can season the pot with sliced onion or curry leaves whilst burning off the oil
