Shipping - Some great tips and advice
As we all know, purchasing online is convenient, easy and usually fun! Then comes the shipping. It is important to get an understanding of how much you should be paying for shipping. You can generally get an understanding of this by simply checking out items on eBay to gauge a shipping cost in comparison to someones website.
Some tips on shipping in the lead up to Christmas:
1. Make sure you always get a tracking number.
Any good company will always offer tracking for an order. This gives you an understanding of how long it will take and where your parcel is, and, peace of mind if its urgent. If you don't get one, ask for one!
2. Order early. Anything ordered in mid-December may not arrive before Christmas, depending on location of course.
3. Keep an eye out for cut-off dates for Christmas ordering. Our cut-off dates for online orders to be received by Christmas is generally December 5th.
4. Shipping options. Is your shipper giving you a couple of shipping options? We generally offer Australia Post or Couriers Please. Australia Post are usually the cheapest but keep in mind coming up to Christmas their transit times can double or even triple. Don't be afraid to spend a few extra dollars if it means getting your order on time. We encourage our customers to give us a call or email if you would like a few shipping options for Christmas. There's always a way to get something from A to B.
