    The word "Katagami" translates as "Shape Paper". These vintage artworks are originals, from Japan, Circa 1930 – 1960,  the artisans, hand cut out the pattern with small sharp metal knives and punches with such precision to make a stencil for textile printing on Kimono’s, and other products.
