The National Sustainable Living Festival, February 2023

Art Exhibition - Earth & Sky Stories

In this latest exhibition by Karen Hopkins, along with Steffie and Neil Wallace, three creatives explore our connection to nature and the impacts of climate change on sustainability.

Inspired by our symbiotic relationship to the earth with its fragile ecosystems, and the corresponding relationship to our inner and outer worlds this show explores the importance of living together, with care and respect for the earth, and all life, in an ever-changing world.

Unsustainable living is also questioned by this trio as they seek to examine maintaining emotional sustainability and the unsustainable consumption of finite materials with ramifications for our critically endangered species. We are thrilled this exhibition will be part of this year’s National Sustainable Living Festival held across Australia each year.

We all hope this exhibition will be an inspiring event and instigate conversations around sustainability and biodiversity in the local Bayside community and beyond.
